Sweet Yam and Apple Casserole

6 med yams cooked and peeled then sliced
6 apples peeled and sliced
1 1/2 Cup Sugar
4 Tablespoon Corn Starch
1 teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Butter
Layer yams and apples in 9x13 pan

In a sauce pan combine sugar and corn starch and salt and butter.
Bring to a boil pour over Apples and Yams
Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 min


This was in Grandmas recipes in her hand writing.
