Oreo Cookies

From the Festival of Trees cookbook

2 Devil's food cake mixes
1-1/2 Cup shortening
4 eggs

Mix well and roll into small balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350' for 9 minutes. Press two cookies together with filling.

Filling:

1-8 oz. pkg. Cream cheese
1/4 Cup Butter
2-3/4 Cup Powdered sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla

Mix until smooth
