This is what I have been up to this week. I made a wedding cake for the son of a lady I work with. They had some fun ideas for the food at this wedding. They had things like hot cocoa with spoons dipped in chocolate, and breads and spreads. They also did a candy table like what Rosie had for her wedding. I liked the way they had only candy that matched the colors of the wedding. Here are some pictures of it all.
They had the reception at the Sun River Gardens in Orem. I asked one of the ladies in charge of setting up what the charge is to use the gradens. She said Monday, Thursady is $1600.00 and Friday, Saturday $1800.00 It is really beautiful inside. They bring in flowers that match the wedding colors and all kinds of green plants.
Rosie and I thought we liked the cake with the pink ribbon to break up the purple.
