SAUSAGE NOODLE CASSEROLE

1 8-oz. pkg. noodles
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup diced cooked carrots
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 lb. link sausage
1 cup drained corn
2 TB. minced onions

Cook noodles in boiling salt water until tender. Brown sausage slightly in skillet. Set 10 to 12 sausage aside; cut remaining links into fourths. Blend together soups in mixing bowl; stir while adding milk. Combine noodles, cut sausage and remaining ingredients; pour in greased casserole.
Arrange sausages around on top. Bake 350 for 30 to 40 min.

GROUND ROUND CASSEROLE

1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 cup diced celery
2 Bullion cubes
2 TB. butter
2 1/2 cups hot water
2 TB. soy sauce
1 Sm. pkg. minute rice

Melt butter in frying pan. Add onion and celery. cook until partially done. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Dissolve bullion cubes in hot water, combine all ingredients. mix well and pour into a greased casserole. Cover with buttered cracker crumbs. Bake 350 until bubbles, and top is browned.
Serves 6 to 8

BARBECUED HAMBURGERS

(for 50 buns)

Add:
1 cup chopped celery
1 tbs. chili powder
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1 tbs. prepared mustard
2 cans tomato soup
dash of pepper
salt to taste
1 cup catsup
4 tbs. Worcestershire sauce

Simmer for 1 1/2 hours

QUICK SUPPER

1 can pork and beans or cooked chili beans
1/2 chili brick
1/2 lb. hamburger
1pt. tomatoes or equivalent in fresh tomatoes
1/2 lb. cheese

Heat until cheese melts then serve individually on plates of cut-up lettuce and onion. hot bread makes a delicious duet. This makes a balanced meal.

CHOW MIEN

Cut up cooked left-over meat. Dice celery, onion, and green pepper. Add water and let cook. don't over-cook vegetables. Add 3 bouillon cubes. Make thickening with cornstarch, soy sauce, and cold water. Serve with steamed rice.

SAUCE TO PUT OVER RICE



1 med onion

1 clove garlic

2 Tbl salad oil

2 1/2 cups or can tomatoes

1 Tbl lemon juice fresh or frozen

1 bay leaf

1/2 tsp salt

dash pepper

2 cans tuna fish or meat



Cut onion in slices. cook whole garlic hot oil 5 min. Add tomatoes. cook for 20 min. Scoop out garlic. add tuna or meat. cook 10. min. Pour over cooked rice.





HAMBURGER BALLS



Let soak together:

4 slice of bread
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup milk

Mix together:
1 lb. ground beef
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 t. minced onion

mix with above mixture, and form a ball, and brown. Pour over 1 can cream chicken soup, 1 can cream mushroom soup, 1 can milk. Let cook until meat is done. Leota Peterson


SPAM CASSEROLE

1 med. size pkg. egg noodles
1 can Spam
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can mushroom soup
1 cup milk
2 cups grated cheese

cook egg noodles. Chop Spam in small pieces. Cream soups and milk. Pour over noodles and Spam. Blend in cheese and sprinkle over the top.
Bake at 325' for 25 min.

CHICKEN CASSEROLE

Cook until tender:

2 large stewing hens (cover with water and boil)
3 stalks celery
2 small onions (cut up)
2 grated carrots
Bay leaf and pepper to taste

Remove chicken from broth; cut meat into small pieces.

Sauce:

6 cups broth
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp. celery salt
Cook until thickened

2 cups buttered bread crumbs

In large casserole put layer of chicken, layer of broth, layer of bread crumbs. Repeat until all ingredients are used. Cook 1 1/2 hours.

MASHED POTATO CASSEROLE

Fry 1 lb. hamburger and 1 small onion together in skillet.

Add:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 qt. tomato juice
1 can of either corn or peas
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook until thickens. Drop by spoonfuls cooked mashed potatoes; heat and serve.

Going out West with Grandma and Grandpa

We took Tait and Blake, Mark and Rosie came with use Mark shot his new rifle and his black power gun. We let the little boys take turns shooting the air gun. They loved shooting at all the big black ants and big bugs. The boys loved watching the bug move around with there inside coming out they would just laugh and laugh. They always love shooting the air gun. We eat a picnic on the back of the truck holding down are paper plate. But we all had so much fun.


A ride out West to Little Moab

We took Mike and Becky out to little Moab out West. Becky had never been out there and seen the rock crawlers. We took Becky thinking she would love to take pictures out there and we got out there and they got the camera out and she had left the battery home on the charger. Crazy kids.
